To design Grand Rapids Student Advancement Foundation’s annual Gala, MindShare. The connection of the event with the foundation’s name is absent, not all attendees have knowledge that GRSAF puts the event on. The connection between the two needs to be prevalent. It is also the last year of MindShare known with that name before their rebrand. Solution
Design an event with strong ties between the foundation, the event, and Grand Rapids Public Schools. The solution is to make the foundation’s name pronounced in ties with the event as well as utilizing new colors that connect with the identity colors of Grand Rapids Public Schools.

The emotional connection
The Attendees have a first-hand experience and emotional connection with the students. They would also like to know how the foundation’s efforts support the students. Also at the event include corporate donors who give $10–20K and are looking to network to promote their company. They are interested in seeing statistics and numbers that explain how their donation has impacted the schools.
